Extending Visa

Hello,

I have been living in Istanbul since April to work with my fashion brands manufacturer. It's looking very unlikely I will be able to get back to England next month, when my 3 month tourist/work visa runs out, without having to pay £2000 to go into a quarantine hotel. So I want to extend and stay in Turkey.

Has anyone else had to extend their visas and what do I need to do? I'm not sure whether to apply for a work visa, or residence visa? I read you cant extend your tourist visa without leaving the country and reapplying?

Any help and suggestions would be hugely appreciated. Many thanks for your time.

i guess you can apply for a short term residence permit.
