Permanent Residence Card Type D Timelines

Post new topic

Kingcesar

Hello Guys,

I hope you are all doing well.
My first residence permit type A was released on January 10th 2017 however I only received it physically on March 10th 2017 due to some personal delays. In this case when can I apply for the permanent residence card type D ? It seems that it should be 5 years after I physically received the card from commune so on March 10th 2022 ( not possible on January 10th 2022)
What were the timelines in your case?

Thanks all for the replies,
Sergio

It could be useful to ask directly your commune or send an email to the Immigration Ministry.

I always ask them and I get the exact date which I could apply. Very simple and straight forward as it may differs case by case.

In my case, from the day card A is received.
On Mon dossier website, download your history of cards. So, you will have the date on it to count 5 years.
