I was Singapore PR before but lost it because REP expired.  I haven't withdrawn CPF. I wonder what is my chance of getting Work Pass and maybe reinstate PR later. If you have similar experience, hope you can share with me. Thank you.

Your chances of getting another work pass and, a few years later, PR are good - the same criteria will be applied as to everybody else, but you passed them once before, so you can pass again.And leaving the CPF money in will definitely be seen as positive!

@beppi thank you so much :)

I am a former Singapore PR. My REP expired and I never renewed. I've been away from Singapore for nearly 10 years.

I recently applied for EP and it was approved. Prior to my EP application, I was instructed to first return my IC at ICA and request a letter from them confirming that they had received my IC and that I gave up my PR.

Good luck!

@banananana thank you.

Who instructed you to return IC or how did you know you needed to return IC?I returned my IC in 2014, I don’t think I can find any official letter, I assume requesting email confirmation  from ICA is sufficient?

Did you indicate you were PR before in EP application form? If so, what details did you give?

Last question, how long did your EP application take?

Thanks a lot.

@banananana Hi may I ask if you withdraw your CPF monies when you gave up your PR?

Hi, just to give you an update, I just got my EP approved. I was ex SG PR, didn't withdraw CPF. MOM did ask for confirmation letter regarding PR status before processing my application, so it is good to prepare that letter beforehand.

Hi @Kirsikka06, May I asked how long is takes to know about your EP application? So, Ex Pr must return the IC and get a letter from ICA so it smoothen the application for Passes?
