I'd like to move to Peru in 3 months with my Peruvian girlfriend

Post new topic

Hello, my name is Quentin, I'm 33. I'm French and I'd like to move to Peru in 3 months with my Peruvian girlfriend.

I'm currently finding out how to immigrate there. Do we have to get married? I've seen that it's also possible to ask a member of my girlfriend's family to sign a work contract for me, but are there any other solutions? Is it possible to do this from abroad or do I have to do it locally?

Thank you

Also I might add the immigration procedure can be complicated. You probably do not need an attorney if your fiance is computer savvy, as the procedure is done through a Peru government website. I did not use an attorney. understanding the language is a must . Various residence visas are available , and the procedure can be found in English on the Lima easy site. Jeff
