Timeframe of processes from exam to civic and language class?

Post new topic

Hello

i entered on a long stay visa on Feb 7, and my physical exam was approx Marxh 15.

i was given no timeframe for the next process, (agreement, civic class, language class)

is there a general rule when to expect these events?  From what I gather, the next step is to meet with an official to sign integration agreement.  Are dates revealed for civic and language class then?  My office is in Rouen, and am hanging on the next contact from OFIII.

thanks

Hi Bruce , You can anticiapte and start by preparing the langage exam ..If I well understand this will be for citizenship , Isn't it ? Even if for other reasons you can use this link to find out whitch test you need https://www.lefrancaisdesaffaires.fr/te … s-tef/Good luck

In my experience, every step takes 90-plus days. Your case takes 90 days to get to the top of the pile. Then, it gets reviewed, and if it has trouble, you will hear sooner. But you will get a letter or email with the next step or a meeting date. The waiting is very hard. Changing my Florida Driving Permit for a French Driving permit took over a year. And each request form more information took 90 days to get to the top of the pile again. Your next step is a meeting with OFFI and the health check, where they will learn if you speak and understand French. And you get Classes as needed near where you live and the number of hours. OFFI and the school will work to make it work. Mine was very enjoyable, 200 hrs. They raised it to 600 hrs by the time I got out. And also get some citizenship classes. That was wonderful. You just have to relax and roll with the system.

Always be respectful and careful. And things will not speedup but will be much smoother. You also must be very careful to follow the instructions step by step. NO STAPLES Everything in your file is in the exact order of the request form. My first three trips to the Prefect ended with me and the agent being angry. The next trip took only minutes and was successful. All smiles. A  Demand is a respectful request with all the documents and answers. Read the request over us Google Translator on the questions, and your answers clear your understanding with a French speaker. The things you learn from these encounters will make your life easier here. Respect is important. Good Luck and have fun.
