hi..

Please guide me if there are good opportunities in opening Nursing Home/Healthcare units or Vocational schools or English speaking academy or Soft skills training schools or per-nursery schools in Cambodia.

How is the law and order situation in the city and locals attitudes towards expats. Is the power tariff is high and how is the overall distribution( I mean is there continuous supply without failure)

Is food processing or fish packing industry a lucrative business? Is any commodity can be explored for imports to the country or exports outside Cambodia..

How is paper work for business visa-- easy or complex? I am open to any part of the country.

Aurélie

Power is a problem in some areas, better in the nicer parts of PP, here in Sihanoukville, we have occasional blackouts, usually lasting not more than 2 hours. It's been better now that the tourist season is over. Less demand I guess. As far as local government is concerned, bribery is common, and for many transactions, will be needed to "pave the way". Without a payoff, you may not be able to do what you want. A Khmei friend, if you can find one, may be able to steer you through the maze of forms and agencies.
English teachers are always in demand in the many private schools. I have not seen a nursing home anywhere! Lots of clinics all over, with some well-qualified doctors. I use one here in Snooky, CT clinic, and have had good results. The doctor speaks good english, and is well-aquainted with all the latest meds and procdures. There is still a need HERE, for a good hospital!
