JMReiner

Hi guys,

Any referrals for agents/agencies/companies who can handle brand/trademark registration at the National Office for Intellectual Property will be appreciated.

You can reply here or send me directly to jmartinez.mice@orientalsaigon.com

Thank you.

They will advise on things before you lay your money down for an Agent.

You might need a VN citizen or a VN registered company, unless they have changed the rules again.

Have a look at www.alien-consulting.vn. They also do

Why would ANYONE want to use a Nha Trang-based outfit when the registry office and the registrant live in Ho Chi Minh City?

PLUS the fact the company you suggested doesn't even do the required work!

no problem, than read again http://alien-consulting.vn/blog/corpora … ate-needs/

We know in the mean time, that each subject is right for to overrun and speak false, depending a bit a wind. It still does not impress me.

Your Nha Trsng outfit doesn't handle IP - Intellectual Property, they are into corporate registrations which are provincial.

I know of them because when my wife registered the new mini-hotel as a stand-alone company in NT, a guy also waiting for service introduced himself offering to do it.

Many places offer 'services' then promptly farm them off to yet other companies, charging an add-on fee for nothing.

If you can read Vietnamese, have a good reading book, anyone can handle the registration process. (The good reading book is for passing the waiting time)

Ok, I add a lamer note: they do. If you can see it or not, independent of any Mini Hotels, which your wife is registering as intellectual property.

Registering a business operation has absolutely nothing to do with IP. The IP covers the logo and that is owned by another company and did not need registration.

Corporate registrations are totally different from IP registrations, demonstrated by the fact there are only two or three IP registration offices for the whole of VN and every province has a corporate registration office.

Totally separate organisations and totally different purposes.

Ask the Khanh Hoa Department of Planning and Investment, 1 Tran Phu Street, Xuong Huan Ward, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province

Even in Nha Trang.

You should really try to get information accurate as many people use this information to make decisions; if only one person is dishing out bad info it detracts from all the others who try be do their best.

I do not need to ask for the differences there, neither, I not need to ask you about the differences, as I can read.
In comparison to others (you), I know that they do the registration process. Take it or leave it and tell us please you story about the many mini hotels, which are intellectual property or the the salaris for your female staffs again, as they fit good in this topic.
Further I miss your posts, the prior  entry requirements for Vietnam as well  as the weather forecast.
Get a live man and down to earth.

I have never seen in my life anything more nonsense than this what you let up to this "They also do"

Thanks, guys for your time. I hope you two will sort the misunderstanding.

Jaitch, our office (Vietnamese) inquired to the office already but they were not very helpful and just pointed to our local staff where to get the forms.

Procedure wise, we know already but what we are looking for is a company/agency who handle trademark registration for our brand name and logo (like travel agency for booking or visa, even if it can be done personally). We received freelancers information but it might be better to check with registered companies/agents who offer this service.

Will appreciate your further help.

Thanks!

Jaitch

All government offices have 'favourites' (they know who to bribe. Have a VNese person go in and ask them 'which is the best company'.

They'll get you the answer.

Mine were done just after the office opened and we through our friendly (low fees) lawyer.

The VB legislation is covered by Law No. 50/2005/QH11 on Intellectual Property.

I have sent you a PM with Agents names.
