Hi everyone,

I'm Mark. A civil engineer with a general contractor business here in the Philippines. This is not my first post though. Ask me anything regarding the house, construction, engineering, and business here. I'm stationed at Bulacan.

My name is Dennis Hodge and i am moving to the Philippines in October. I am a retired land surveyor from the Oregon Dept. of Transportation. Can you tell me if there are any opportunities for someone like me to do construction staking etc. there/

Hard to say. I'm not the best person to give you an advice regarding the opportunity.

You may need to look for an expat that is more familiar or try checking out large horizontal construction companies. A lot of large companies would love to have an expat of your experience in their company roster since the company image is a big thing here. Someone of your experience can give a company a big boost on their Sustaining Technical Employee roster and pad their company profile.
