One question about applying for a swedish Residence Permit

Hi, everybody.

I thank for any answers you offer me related to this matter:

I'm a mexican citizen, just married to my boyfriend in January, who is a non-EU with a permanent residence in Sweden. Our relationship is more than 1 year old. He has been living there for more than 4 years with his Permanent Residence Permit, so I read he is excluded from the financial support requirements. Thing is, he doesn't have a job, he is just a student and he depends on his parents right now. Even if he's excluded for the financial support requirements, does he need to have a job for me to apply? Are they going to ask us about it or reject me cause of that? I don't want to be apart from him anymore. =(

Thank you, guys

Hi doubtful,

I have no clear answer for your question but I think that you can look in migrationsverket website in english and try to search by key words for the right answer ;
