Cambodia One Year Visa

Post new topic

Paul123

I overheard a Chinese couple who cut me at airport visa line requested one year “tourism” visa. The Cambodian worker at the counter collected $6 then told them to pay $50 in the pickup line.

Can someone explain the application process to apply for one year visa?

Hello.

There is no such thing as a one year tourist visa.

Any normal visa on arrival is valid for 30 days, whether it is Tourist or Ordinary.

Within 30 days of that you can apply for an extension, tourist visa only once for 30 days, Ordinary for max. one year, depending on several conditions and rules.

If the people were Chinese they might have had diplomatic or official/service passports, which allow them to enter Cambodia without a visa.

The only country with long-stay visa possibilities is Japan, after both governments agreed on that.
