MY  Prospective employer submit new application for me and Application result also Approved. after that day morning date 21/02/2020 Prospective employer inform me Singapore  Ministry of manpower Revoke my IPA .  what is the reason. I know I don't have any other bad record in Singapore .I am personally respect Singapore rules and regulations. last time i god fine issue i cannot pay the fine i got 3 weeks prison. once prison Finnish ICA  sent me back my home country . i got ban from Singapore ministry of manpower  but already expired Ban . please help me if anyone know about this matter. thanks

How you could say that ban on you was lifted? The ban against you is still very much valid that’s why they revoked the IPA. A foreigner was in jail for whatever the reason it could be, is a serious negative record here.

I would suggest try job elsewhere. Good luck

I agree with Surya: After 3 weeks imprisonment followed by deportation you will probably never again get a Singapore work pass. Better try other countries. And be glad if you are allowed to visit Singapore.
The revoked IPA was probably a mistake, for which the processing officer is certainly in deep shit right now.

Well, if you ever manage to get a Singapore work pass again, please come back and report it here - so we know that it is possible against all odds.
But I believe it will not happen. Why should Singapore admit somebody who is known to cause problems?

surya2k

MoM can talks about your employment situation. You were sent back home by ICA. ICA is only authority can allow you to enter Singapore (not MoM). There are many instances in past, where people were denied to enter Singapore even they have valid IPA from MoM.

Do understand clearly, MoM revoked your work pass approval for a strong reason. If MoM was said your ban was lifted on 9th Jan, then how come they revoked your IPA on 21 Feb’20? So, it’s a clear case of some strong reason still exist which MoM can’t over look it.

So, contact ICA to know what’s your current situation. Good luck

ICA REPLAY MY APPEAL

ICA VSC Appeal (ICA) <ICA_VSC_Appeal@ica.gov.sg>

to me

Dear Sir,

Please refer to your email dated 29.04.2019.

2             You are advised to submit a Visit Pass application first. If the application is approved, your prospective company can then submit a Work Pass application.

Thank you.

Not sure what is the purpose of sharing an old mail way back in May 2019. Your present case happened on 21 Feb’20 when MoM revoked your work pass.

So, you should write a mail to ICA with all your details then seek their advice whether is there any ban on you still exist and whether you can able to enter Singapore or not.

Hello all, I was a victim of ahlong harrassment. I was forced to resign form my company buy my employer. Not whenever I apply the result of IPA application says ,"this foreigner is not eligible for work pass" may I know if this is a ban or just temporary?

beppi

@Wilson Zechariah Only MoM can tell you what it is. How could we here know?

tilojulieann

@Wilson Zechariah

Same senario.  I just want to know if permanent banned

Wilson Zechariah

@beppi I have written to MOM but reply as to appeal that's it.i asked for futher clarification if banned but mom is not replying straight forward. That's why I asking if anyone faced the same issue

HaelGC

Hi,

Just sharing, same issue- was a victim of ah long back 2023 - Aug 2024 my director received an email from MOM officer submit an appeal to continue hiring or cancel if want to send back. My director submit an appeal & there are some undertakings & declarations. On 16 Sept 24, company submitted renewal it was rejected "due to candidate not eligible for work pass, look for another candidate" but they have given the options to appeal by 20 Dec 24, My director appeal accordingly last 2 Oct 2024 addressing the email received last 2 Aug 24. Hopefully will give some insights on issues similar to me. I will update once the appeal is approved, currently status is pending.

Thanks

HaelGC

As of today, my 1st appeal was rejected. can i asked help what will be the reason of my rejection as I have only once a victim of ah long? what wil be the next possible steps to do? Thank you in advance

Any same case like me?

Appreciate your help

beppi

@HaelGCt We (strangers on an Internet forum) know what your rejection reasons are.

But it seems you already have a suspicion - and certainly know all the details of your case.

The next possible steps could be removing the rejection reason and then appealing or applying again. Or looking for a job in another country (which is your only option if you cannot know AND remove the reason).

HaelGC

Hi @beppi really appreciate your response. on the 1st appeal we haven't point the reason clearly. We tried our 2nd appeal yesterday - addressing my case to which my company is fully aware of. Hoping for + result on my 2nd appeal. Thank you

beppi

@HaelGC The first appeal was wasted: Just asking them to have a look at it again does not work!

Your description of the second appeal is not clear. If you actually made changes that overcome the rejection reason (and it was the only reason), then you have a chance. Otherwise not.

Did the employer contact MoM'sprocessing officer to discuss the matter and whether there is a chance?

(If your suspicion is correct and the rejection is because of your involvement with illegal moneylendering activities, it would be difficult to remove that black mark - and you'd have to start at the criminal court!)

HaelGC

Dear @beppi earlier prior to renewal my company already received undertakings & declaration on possible revocation of work pass by 16 Aug 2024- options to submit an appeal or cancel & send back but company proceed to appeal that is why im still here, until renewal came so it was rejected but there was a note on the letter received that "you will be able to subsequently renew their work passes"

beppi

@HaelGC Sorry, your message is unclear. But if you received a "revocation" of your work pass (and the company cold probably only avert it by claiming that their operations would suffer without your presence), then it is to be expected that you get no new work pass.

I recommend looking for another country to work/live in!
