I am contemplating whether to apply for Turkish passport upon purchasing a property there or not. It was brought to my attention to better get a residency (and renew it every year) since it allows me to buy a car in Turkey without customs/taxes.

Please advise... Thank you in advance.

Hi Hassan,

Buy purchasing a property amount to 250.000 usd in Turkey you can easily obtain Turkish citizenship and passport in 5 months for yourself, your spouse and children under 18 age as well. This is the easiest and quickest way to become a Turkish citizen.

Also, it is easier to get redidency in Turkey by buying a property.

Howewer, this does not give you a right to buy any car without customs or taxes in Turkey.
