As of today, March 1, 2022 it will no longer be possible to come in on a tourist visa and convert it to a EB extension of stay.

If you came in before today you can still convert.

This is an example of the sudden change of rules that Cambodia is known for.

Oh, that's very unfortunate.
I'm just bound to arrive next week.

Thank you for keeping us in the loop, Joe!

Hi Joe.... been sometime. I just wanted to know as to Wether they will still grant you a retirement visa if your under 55. Nothing has changed in regards to my circumstances from my time there before the pandemic but the Cambodian immigration being as it is it could have changed several times in the last couple of years. Regards.

Hello Dave.

Visa regulations are back to normal, you take an Ordinary visa at the airport and a week later you extend it for a Retirement EOS.

Cheers.

Joe

Hi

How easy is it to get a business visa?
I´ve tried to read what you need to provide to get it but I'm a bit lost.

Do you have any recommendations for an agent that can help me with this?

Thanks Jonas

Hello.

Business visa does not exist.

At the airport you get either a Tourist visa or an Ordinary visa.
A week later you go to a reliable agent to apply for an extension if you want to stay longer than 60 days.

Extensions are based on business, retirement, study and general

If you have a job your employer will help you with that, if you have your own business you need to register.
After you got your extension you need to apply for a work permit.

If you are looking for a job you can get the general extension for 6 months, no paperwork required.

A knowledgeable and trustworthy agent in PP is Kim, phone ***.

Good luck.
